Job summary

Moxy Washington, DC Downtown is seeking an energetic Outlet Front of House Manager to oversee the daily front-of-house operations of Rosa's Diner and Lucha Rosa. You'll lead from the floor, support your team during service, and collaborate with hotel leadership to ensure hospitality excellence.

As a hands-on leader, you will hire and mentor staff, set service standards, manage reservations and dining room flow, and drive guest satisfaction through memorable experiences, all while maintaining

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive front-of-house or restaurant management.
• Experience leading and developing front-of-house teams.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service and guest relations.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced setting.
• Scheduling, labor management, and basic restaurant financials preferred.
• Willingness to obtain certifications if not held.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations for Rosa's Diner and Lucha Rosa.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop FOH team members.
• Set service standards and manage guest engagement.
• Monitor service and address guest needs promptly.
• Oversee reservations, table assignments, pacing and flow.
• Coordinate with culinary team for kitchen-FOH communications.
• Support events, promotions, and hotel activations.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist with labor scheduling and budgeting.
