Job summary

JPS Composite Materials in Anderson, SC is seeking a Twister Operator to safely patrol twister frames and perform twisting and plying procedures, ensuring specs are met and product quality is maintained during machine faults.

Responsibilities include inspecting bobbins, repacking creel yarns, maintaining machine cleanliness per ISO standards, and flexibility to creeling; regular paperwork and TPM audits are required.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience.
• Must be able to work in a tight, confined area without damaging yarn.

Responsibilities

• Twister Operator patrols twister frames and performs twisting and plying procedures.
• Place specifications on twisting frames and verify product quality in case of machine failure.
• Inspect for defective bobbins and repack creel yarns into boxes using proper handling methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and follow weekly TPM cleaning audit schedule.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records according to ISO standards.
• May be asked to work in Creeling when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
