Job summary

JPS Composite Materials LLC in Anderson, SC is seeking a Twister Operator to safely operate and monitor twister frames, perform twisting and plying, and inspect for defects. The role requires completing ISO-compliant paperwork and maintaining quality checks during machine issues.

Responsibilities include inspecting for defective bobbins, repacking creel yarns, keeping the equipment clean, and following TPM schedules. Creeling duties may be required as needed to support production.

Job description

While working safely the Twister Operator will patrol twister frames, while carrying out the twisting and plying procedures as well as placing specifications on the twisting frames and verifying the quality of the product in the event of machine failure. A Twister Operator will also inspect for defective bobbins and repacking creel yarns into boxes using the proper handling methods. They will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their machine at all times, follow weekly TPM cleaning audit schedule. Complete all paperwork and maintain all records according to ISO standards. May be asked to work in Creeling when needed. Other duties as assigned.
