Job summary

DC Engineering in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least two years of experience in mechanical building systems design, ideally with HVAC and plumbing experience in a consulting environment. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

You will join a collaborative team across projects from concept through construction administration, work with architects and clients, and contribute to design, calculations, reports, and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering consulting.
• Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems for building projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform code analysis and ensure designs comply with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Support projects through design, bidding, construction, and closeout phases.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to technical discussions and project planning.
• Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and quality control efforts.
