Job summary

DC Engineering in Twin Falls, ID seeks a Mechanical Engineer (EIT/PE) with at least 2 years of experience in mechanical building systems design. You will join a collaborative team, contributing to HVAC and plumbing projects from concept to construction administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering consulting.
• Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for building projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems for building projects.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with architects, owners, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Perform code analysis and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Support projects through design, bidding, construction, and closeout phases.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to technical discussions and planning.
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and quality control.
