Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is assisting an established local MEP engineering firm in Saint Petersburg, FL in recruiting a Junior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC and plumbing.

You will assist with design, develop layouts in Revit and AutoCAD, perform load calculations, coordinate BIM, and support projects from design through construction documents; 6 months to 3 years of experience preferred; FE/EIT a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 6 months–3 years of relevant MEP/building systems experience.
• Experience with HVAC and/or plumbing design.
• Revit experience strongly preferred.
• FE/EIT or progress toward EIT is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Junior Mechanical Engineer – HVAC / Plumbing

An established and growing MEP consulting engineering firm in the local area is seeking to add a Junior Mechanical Engineer with approximately 6 months to 3 years of MEP environment experience (HVAC and/or Plumbing) to join its engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Professional Engineers designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, laboratory projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HVAC and/or plumbing system design and engineering.
• Develop layouts and construction documents using Revit & AutoCAD.
• Assist with HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and piping design.
