GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead twilight shift operations at our Rugby site. You will drive daily production activities, ensure safety and quality, and optimise resources to meet schedules and budgets.

The role is suitable for an experienced leader from heavy industrial backgrounds who can coach teams, embrace new technologies, and push for continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams to satisfy customer requirements.

Competenze

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in a supervisory or management role within manufacturing.
• Strong people leadership and ability to coach and motivate teams.
• Track record of maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication across functions and levels of the business.
• Proficient in standard manufacturing or operational systems.

Mansioni

• Lead and supervise daily production activities to deliver schedules and meet monthly targets.
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with EHS policies and site standards.
• Ensure products are manufactured to required quality standards and specifications.
• Allocate work, optimise labour and resources to maximise efficiency.
• Monitor performance, track metrics, and support cost control within budget.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives across the operation.
• Support audits, reporting, and stock movements in collaboration with teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Fulfilment, Engineering and cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across processes, quality, and team performance.
• Lead Lean and operational excellence initiatives (5S, waste reduction, process improvements).
• Coach and develop production staff through feedback, training, and performance management.
• Manage employee relations with HR as appropriate and coordinate agency labour when needed.
