Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Access Control Driver in Paulsboro, NJ. This role manages entry points at a chemical/petrochemical site and involves driving to locations while delivering customer service and security.

The position requires at least 2 years of security experience, a TSA TWIC, and a valid driver’s license, with a background check and drug screening part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles; verify credentials and maintain required access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Assist with visitor processing, contractor check-in, badge issuance, key control, and documentation of unusual activity or policy violations.
