TEGNA's KBMT-TV in Beaumont, TX is seeking a detail‑oriented Programming Assistant to support programming, traffic, and station operations for KBMT, KJAC, and KUIL. Reporting to the Programming Director, you will help maintain accurate schedules, prepare syndicated content, and assist with programming reports.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and eager to learn television programming and traffic systems such as TitanTV MediaStar Scheduler, WideOrbit, and Pulse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in television, media, programming, traffic, or admin support preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn programming and traffic systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Programming Director and Traffic team with daily programming and traffic activities.
• Download, review, and schedule paid programming content.
• Prepare syndicated and special programming for broadcast.
• Maintain programming schedules and logs; reconcile schedules.
• Provide admin support for programming, traffic, sales, and news.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues.
