Job summary

Nexstar Media Group in Cleveland is seeking an Account Executive to drive television and digital ad sales. You will build and sustain client and agency relationships, craft compelling proposals, and execute a sales strategy to hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Ideal candidates have college degrees, strong presentation skills, proficiency with desktop tools, a valid driver’s license, and television or related industry experience.

Qualifications

• Well organized and able to present orally and in writing.
• Ability to develop and enhance client and agency relationships.
• College degree and sales experience in Television or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenues as set by AE and Manager to meet station budget.
• Maximize station revenue through sale of TV and digital products.
• Develop relationships with agencies and local clients to grow business.
• Sell advertising on television and digital platforms.
• Aim to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
• Identify needs of local businesses and present customized sales solutions.
• Indirectly supervise a sales assistant for support in tasks.
