Job summary

Fox TV Stations in Orlando seeks an experienced sales professional to drive revenue across broadcast and digital platforms. You will manage client relationships, present data-driven proposals, and negotiate terms to maximize share of business.

Responsibilities include engaging with clients, supporting promotions, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with accounting. A valid driver’s license is required, with a compensation package including base salary and potential commissions.

Qualifications

• Broadcast and digital sales experience.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Communication skills. Service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly revenue budgets including new business, digital, OTT and transactional sales.
• Negotiate rates, ratings and share of business with new and existing clients.
• Create presentations, use market research tools (e.g., Kantar, Scarborough) and provide research information to clients to gain share.
• Attend and participate in a minimum of 5 client face-to-face calls or presentations per week.
• Develop and maintain direct client relationships.
• Monitor client deliveries to ensure we post.
• Prospect new business using research and information gathering techniques.
• Update clients on pertinent station information, assets and promotions.
• Follow up on leads and call-ins efficiently.
• Address preemptions with makegood within 48 hours.
• Adhere to Traffic and Production deadlines.
• Work with Accounting to manage credit submissions and timely payments of invoices.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and drive regularly for sales activities and client visits.
• Inform AE back up of current/pending business before taking time off.
• Support positive work environment and inclusion of all employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance.
• Complete exempt time sheet accurately and on deadline.
• Work varied hours, holidays, weekends and during severe weather or sales events.
