Nexstar Media in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive advertising revenue by calling on agencies and cold prospects, and to convince clients of the value of television advertising.

You will establish relationships with the local business community, maintain accounts, deliver compelling presentations, and collaborate with station teams to develop ads that meet client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably in media.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies.
• Proficiency with computers, phones, copiers, scanners, and fax.

Responsabilités

• Generates advertising revenue by calling on agencies and prospects.
• Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
• Establishes credible relationships with the local business community.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
• Explains advertising options and rates for placement in all media.
• Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Works with clients and station staff to develop advertisements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
