Compensation: Salary Grade: CS116 Minimum starting salary $46,080.00 Final offer will be based on relevant experience, education, and other applicable factors.

Position Summary

The Tutoring Center Coordinator manages the staff and daily operations of the Tutoring Center. Coordinates tutoring support, manages schedules, conducts outreach, and tutors students. Maintains College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) standards for national certification. The Tutoring Center Coordinator supervises part time tutors.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists students seeking help in connecting with tutoring services, facilitating their access by providing guidance and support.
• Coordinates tutoring support with faculty to ensure students can access services effectively.
• Improves the effectiveness and quality of Tutoring Center services through systematic data collection and organization.
• Assists manager in interviewing and hiring tutors.
• Organizes and trains Tutoring Center staff, maintains and manages tutors' schedules, and ensures consistent availability for students.
• Tutors students in a variety of disciplines to enhance their understanding and academic performance.
• Engages and informs students about available resources and services through outreach activities, including classroom visits, student orientations, and presentations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in education or a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in Education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with multicultural populations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Demands

The work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee occasionally lifts light objects. Repetitive hand motion and prolonged use of a computer.

Schedule Designation

Typically, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. May be required to work after-hours and/or weekends. This role will be required to work on-site in Santa Fe, NM.
