Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a Tutor for an end-of-year position funded by Title I for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports both elementary and secondary students in a classroom setting under the supervision of the principal.

The Tutor delivers lesson plans, tracks student progress, and provides a positive, supportive learning environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to work part-time, 9 months.

THIS IS AN END OF YEAR POSITION - This position is funded by Title I for the 2026-2027 school year.

General Definition of Work

The Tutor, under general supervision, performs instructional work with minimal decision-making discretion related to implementing a supplemental instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment that guides, and encourages students to support and fulfill their academic goals. Employee performs school-based work to carry out Board of Education policies under the direction of the principal.
