Job summary

Warren County Schools in Front Royal, VA seeks a Part-Time Tutor for Ressie Jeffries Elementary School to help elementary students build stronger reading skills. Tutors work with small reading remediation groups in grades K–5 under the guidance of a Certified Instructional Coach.

Schedule is 5.5 hours per day for 150 school days and pay is $15.00 per hour. Starting date is To Be Determined; application deadline is posted until filled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; undergraduate coursework preferred.
• Experience tutoring or assisting reading development is a plus.
• Ability to work with K–5 students under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Certified Instructional Coach to track progress.
