Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis seeks a Tutor to support students and teachers, helping to meet educational goals within a safe, therapeutic classroom environment.

Under supervision of a Teacher, you will handle crisis intervention and behavior management while contributing to a compassionate behavioral health program within the Lakeside facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field highly preferred
• High school diploma required
• One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population preferred

Job Description

The Tutor assists students and teachers in meeting stated educational goals and provides direct student behavior management under the supervision of a Teacher. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic class room setting, crisis intervention and behavior management.

Job Requirements

Education: Ba chelors Degree in Education or related field highly preferred; high school diploma required. Experience: One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population preferred.
