Johnson County Community College is seeking a part-time Tutor III in SRC Biology to support Biology and Environmental Science students through various tutoring modalities, including drop-in, by-appointment, and embedded tutoring in higher-level courses. The role will also train Embedded Tutors for Life Science courses and collaborate with faculty to develop workshops and center resources.

Starting Salary Range: $20.93-$26.94 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
SRC Tutor - Biology, provides academic support for students taking Biology and/or Environmental Science courses through a variety of modalities and methods in higher-level courses and content, incorporating executive functioning skills; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with creation and implementation of center-specific projects and training as appropriate; work with various campus partners to create learning opportunities for students; assist in other daily activities in the relevant center. This position will also be responsible for training and mentoring Embedded Tutors hired for Life Science courses.
