Job summary

The University of North Dakota is seeking an part-time tutor for medical school students. This non-benefited role offers remote work with optional campus presence and requires 5–12 hours per week.

You will provide tutoring in medical topics, maintain accurate records of sessions and hours, and uphold confidentiality and professionalism in a collaborative team environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong study habits and clear communication.

Salary/Position Classification

• $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5-12 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Will provide academic tutoring to medical school students.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring for students in the medical doctor program
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and hours worked

Minimum Requirements

• General computer skills
• Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following subject areas: Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology & Immunology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Histology and Medical Terminology
• Demonstrate good study skills and work habits
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
