Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools’ Lakeview Elementary School is seeking a tutor education assistant to provide academic support for students in grades K-5. The role covers seven hours per day, including 6.5 hours of paid work time with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, at a rate of $24.03 per hour under the current Education Assistants contract.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credits (60 credits in MN) or an associate's or higher degree, or a passing score on the ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment.
• Experience working with students in math and reading.
• Ability to explain content clearly to students.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support intervention plans for students.
• Able to work well with students, staff and families.
• Excellent observational skills.
• Flexible personality to handle schedule changes.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Lakeview Elementary School

$24.03 per hour based on Class 3 of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement for Education Assistants

Qualifications
