Job summary

StudentNest Group in La Puente, CA is seeking part-time tutors for in-person, one-on-one and small-group sessions. Appointments are scheduled after school across Los Angeles County locations, including La Puente.

Schedule:

• \"High Dosage Tutor\" Tues-Weds, 2:30 PM TO 7:30 PM & Thurs, 2:00 PM TO 5:30 PM. ELA/Math, grades 1st-12th. Appointment based 1v1, 3v1.

Pay:

• $22per hour standard.
• $23per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request).
• $24per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver targeted instruction in reading or math to support elementary and/or high school aged students.
• Provide small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, academic needs, and developmental levels.
• Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.
