Job summary

SST Direct is seeking an experienced Turret Operator (Swing-Reach Forklift) in Hartland, WI. The role involves setting up, programming, loading and unloading parts, and operating turret equipment to meet blueprint specs and quality standards.

Pay ranges from $23 to $27 per hour, based on experience, with a Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm schedule and full benefits. This is a direct-hire position working on site in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and using measuring tools.
• Ability to perform metric conversions and read specifications.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprint specifications for production parts.
• Set stops and guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, jig, or template.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Use precision measuring devices to set-up and verify conformance to specifications.
• Stack, mark, and pack finished product.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of turret equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with quality procedures.
• Follow all cleanup and housekeeping procedures.
