Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Make Ready Service Technician at Park West 205 in the Pittsburgh area. The role focuses on routine turns and general maintenance to prepare apartments for market-ready condition.

We’re seeking candidates with a valid driver’s license and the ability to commute within 30 minutes. Experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work is preferred; HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Active and valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
One year of related maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work preferred.
HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready condition through routine maintenance and turnover tasks.
Perform basic appliance repair and troubleshooting.
Repair drywall and touch-up painting.
Conduct basic electrical repairs and fixture replacement.
Caulking and final touch-ups in apartments.
Remove trash and debris; maintain grounds and common areas.
Assist with property inspections and apartment walks.
Test locks and key sets; support other maintenance staff.
Be ready for on-call rotations and emergency events.
