Job summary

Gosiger Dayton in Dayton, OH is seeking a hands-on Turnkey engineer to lead machine setup, programming and run-offs from arrival to customer acceptance.

You will develop machine programming processes, train customers on operations, and travel locally and occasionally out-of-state to support installations and training. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to work with Zeiss CMM and advance project management skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with machine tool products, options and functions.
• Experience with machine tool programming, modifications, and setup; G and M Code from scratch.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and to design/manufacture processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform turnkey processes from machine arrival through final customer acceptance.
• Program, set up, and run off parts to optimize cycle time and quality.
• Develop machine programming processes to create parts and train customers on operations.
• Provide on-site and on-call troubleshooting and support to customers.
• Travel to customer sites locally and out-of-state as required to support installations and training.
• Maintain records and documentation for machine and programming processes.
