Job summary

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is seeking a Turndown Attendant to join the housekeeping team. The role focuses on preparing guest rooms for evening turndown, refreshing spaces, and ensuring comfort for sleep.

Ideal candidates are flexible, able to lift up to 40 lbs, and possess US work authorization. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including complimentary staff meals and on-property accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the guest room for turndown service. Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet.
• Wipes down wet surfaces in the bathroom. Folds clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot.
• Removes Room Service trays and dishes and carts to service landings. Replaces used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the Minibar with clean china, glasses and cutlery.
• Removes garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom. Closes drapes, reduces lighting, and prepares bed.
• Submits maintenance issues in guestrooms and public areas to Engineering and informs Housekeeping management.
• Adds special touches to guestrooms to enhance the guest experience (e.g., microfiber cloths, travel bags)

About The Role:

The TurndownAttendant is a vital member of the housekeeping team, provides a comfortable evening environment in Guest Rooms by cleaning and refreshing the room in the early evening and preparing the room for the guest to sleep in.

What You Will Do:

• Prepares the guest room for turndown service. Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet.

• Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom. Folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot.

• Removes Room Service trays and dishes and carts to service landings. Replaces used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the Minibar with clean china, glasses and cutlery from the Room Attendant pantry.

• Removes garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom. Closes drapes (based on applicable standard), reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed.

• Submits all maintenance issues in guestrooms, Public Areas and Back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and brings them to the attention of the Housekeeping management.

• Add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience. For example micro fiber cloth, book marks, travel bags
