Job summary

Peregrine Yountville Management LLC is seeking a Turndown Attendant in Yountville, CA to refresh guestrooms, fulfill guest requests, and maintain high cleanliness standards. The role supports the Housekeeping team and requires focus on hospitality and safety procedures.

The position involves standing for long periods, occasional heavy lifting, and driving a golf cart on property. Experience in a resort setting is preferred and adherence to the company’s four-key service culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Turndown each assigned room according to hotel processes.
• Review turndown list and stock caddie to ensure supplies, linen and amenities are available.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to the process.
• Prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for next day
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Operate radios with resort team members and assist guests promptly.

The Turndown Attendant is responsible for freshening guestrooms, responding to Housekeeping service requests and cleaning rooms as needed.

• Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Review turndown list and stock caddie to ensure all supplies, linen and amenities are available to properly turndown guestrooms. Review list for any special requests.
• Turndown each assigned room according to hotel processes.
• Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the process.
• Prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for next days use.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Operate radios efficiently and professionally when communicating with resort team members.
• Deliver guest requests in a timely manner.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a resort or a related field preferred.

Work Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Required to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend (fold, organize, scrub, etc.)
• This role requires driving a golf cart.
