Job summary

BRG is seeking a senior-level Turnaround & Restructuring professional to join its Corporate Finance practice in the US. The role focuses on delivering strategic financial advice, cash flow and 3-statement modeling, and value-driven analysis for clients including private equity sponsors and lenders.

You will work in a team-oriented environment, manage multiple engagements, and contribute to market opportunities with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial firm. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
• 3+ years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment
• Experience in financial modeling and analysis (Excel), including 3-statement models, cash flows, and scenario analyses
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
• Ability to interpret results and develop insights and recommendations
• Excellent written and oral communication and ability to interact with various stakeholders
• Mature presence, curiosity, and ability to learn quickly
• Strong problem solving and project management skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn quickly
• CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or GAAP accounting expertise is a plus
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day activities of BRG Corporate Finance – Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams on engagements
• Execute multiple tasks across a consulting engagement including modeling and client presentations
• Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to perform tasks including: 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment; collaborate with T&R and BRG experts, professionals from other firms, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives
• Assist in preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
• Participate in the development of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice including assisting in marketing, client pitches, and product and practice development
• Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity
