Per Sé Group is seeking an experienced Turnaround Field Coordinator / Planner to support major refinery turnarounds, outages, shutdowns, and maintenance events in Superior, Wisconsin.
This is a hands‑on opportunity for a seasoned turnaround professional who knows how to bridge the gap between planning and execution, anticipate field challenges, coordinate contractors, and keep complex work moving safely and efficiently.

Coordinate field execution of refinery turnarounds, outages, catalyst changes, and major maintenance activities.
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Inspection, Supply Chain, and contractor supervision to execute approved scopes.
Identify and resolve field execution challenges, remove barriers, and support schedule adherence.
Review turnaround work packages for scope completeness, constructability, materials, safety, and execution readiness.
Conduct field walkdowns to validate job plans, identify risks, and confirm execution requirements.
Coordinate daily progress updates with turnaround schedulers.
Support capital project constructability reviews and integration with turnaround activities.
Develop work packages and job plans during periods of reduced field activity.
Mentor developing turnaround personnel and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
Promote safe work practices and compliance with refinery operating standards.
10+ years of refinery or petrochemical turnaround experience, including field coordination of large, complex maintenance or construction events.
Strong understanding of turnaround planning, work management, execution, and contractor coordination.
Proven ability to collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Inspection, and contractor organizations.
Experience evaluating work packages, execution readiness, and field constructability.
Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to conduct extensive field walkdowns and work outdoors throughout Northern Wisconsin’s seasons.
Willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends during turnaround execution.
Ability to meet refinery physical demands, including climbing, prolonged walking, equipment access, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
Experience developing, reviewing, or auditing turnaround work packages and job plans.
Working knowledge of SAP, IPS, and Primavera P6.
PMP certification, Construction Management degree, or equivalent project management experience.
Location: Superior, WI — onsite
Anticipated Start: November 2, 2026
Initial Duration: 12 months, with potential extension
Schedule: 40 hours per week initially; overtime and potentially nights/weekends during turnaround execution
Per Diem: $178 per calendar day for eligible non-local contractors
Mobilization: Eligible non-local contractors receive approved mobilization and demobilization travel reimbursement, subject to assignment terms
