Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Turnaround Materials Coordinator in the United States (Georgia) to lead the materials strategy for turnarounds. You will coordinate procurement, warehouse operations, logistics, planning, and field execution to ensure timely delivery of materials and alignment with project schedules.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in turnaround or related materials management.

Qualifications

• Experience in turnaround, shutdown, maintenance, construction, warehouse operations, or materials management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of material handling, inventory management, and warehouse practices.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, material tracking systems, and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall Turnaround materials management strategy.
• Establish processes for receiving, storing, staging, tracking, and issuing materials.
• Establish and manage material kitting processes to ensure complete, accurate, and timely delivery of materials for turnaround work.
• Coordinate laydown areas, storage locations, staging sites, and material flow paths with the Logistics Coordinator.
• Support planners by validating material handling assumptions and readiness plans.
• Identify and mitigate material-related risks that could impact safety, productivity, or schedule.
• Establish clear interfaces between Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Contractors, and Field teams.
• Ensure material readiness supports execution sequencing and critical path activities.
