Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a highly motivated Turnaround Engineering Intern to support planning, readiness, and execution activities for a major plant turnaround. You will gain hands-on experience with engineering, operations, maintenance, reliability, process safety, and capital projects in a manufacturing environment.

The internship offers exposure to field work, safety practices, and performance tracking while developing a final presentation and actionable recommendations based on observations

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Chemical Engineering degree.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and tracking of turnaround work scopes.
• Perform field verifications of work packages, tags, drawings, and P&IDs.
• Support readiness reviews, walkdowns, and planning meetings.
• Track project schedules, scope, and startup activities.
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing contributions and lessons learned.
