Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machining experience in a job shop.
• Experience with 5-axis CNC machines and turning/milling in a single setup.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Fanuc control fluency for programming and proving at the machine.
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up DMG Mori NT turn-mill centers from blueprint, workholding, tooling, offsets, and program.
• Set and load turning and live-milling tools, dial in B-axis positions, tool geometry, offsets.
• Verify main-spindle-to-sub-spindle transfer and done-in-one operations.
• Hold aerospace-level tolerances using probing and in-process gauging.
• Machine to dimensions and maintain schedules, documenting changes.
• Troubleshoot setups, tooling, and part quality; collaborate with engineering to improve processes.
• Communicate with engineering and programming to develop best practices on mill-turns.
