Job summary

Zekai is seeking experienced Turkish Linguistic Experts for a 100% remote contract focused on evaluating LLM Turkish tasks and curating Turkish linguistic data to train and improve model performance.

You will work on quality assessment across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction, plus editing and annotating Turkish content. Remote US-based applicants preferred; strong linguistic skills required.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Turkish with strong grammar and style.
• Experience in translation, editing, or linguistic annotation.
• Understanding of linguistic nuances and regional variations.
• Interest in AI/LLM-driven language technologies (nice to have).

Responsibilities

our partner is seeking experienced Turkish Linguistic Experts to join a cutting-edge AI research project in partnership with a leading research lab. This role centers on evaluating how effectively a large language model (LLM) performs in Turkish-language tasks and on curating high-quality Turkish linguistic data to train and improve the model's understanding and generation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of LLM-generated Turkish text across various use cases (e.g., translation, summarization, dialogue, grammar correction).

• Edit, refine, or rewrite Turkish content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.

• Annotate Turkish text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features.

• Identify model errors and language gaps, and collaborate with AI researchers to improve LLM performance.

• Provide detailed linguistic feedback and analysis to guide ongoing model training efforts.

You're a strong fit if you have:

• Native or near-native fluency in Turkish, with excellent command over grammar, syntax, and stylistics.

• Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Turkish.

• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations, and context-appropriate usage.

• Interest in AI and LLM-driven language technologies (preferred but not required).

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.

• Clear communication skills and experience working in distributed, remote teams.
