Job summary

Butterball is seeking a production associate to perform manual and machine-assisted tasks in turkey processing, cutting, and packaging, while upholding strict safety, quality, and sanitation standards in a fast-paced plant.

You will rotate through processing lines, operate or monitor equipment, and meet line speed targets while standing for long periods and wearing PPE. This on-site role requires overtime and flexibility at multiple Butterball facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related preferred.
• Entry level; no prior production experience required.
• Able to read and understand GMP/HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machine-assisted tasks to process meat from turkeys.
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to product safety with the facility.
• Supports all Food Safety initiatives.
• Rotate through various functions within the processing department as needed.
• Monitors equipment operation and notifies personnel of malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned
