Job summary

Ohio State University in Columbus is seeking a Turfgrass Student Assistant 2 to support turfgrass research and teaching areas. You will assist with data collection, plot maintenance, chemical applications, and routine turf maintenance tasks.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work flexible hours; location is Skou Hall on campus. This is a temporary (fixed term) position with the First Shift.

Qualifications

• Assist with the maintenance of turfgrass research and teaching areas while supporting applied turfgrass research projects and labs.
• The position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data, maintain research plots, and assist with chemical applications.
• Perform turf maintenance practices, enter data into spreadsheets, and support laboratory activities.
• Assist with irrigation maintenance as needed.
