Ohio State University—FAES | Horticulture and Crop Science seeks an Undergraduate Research Associate (Hort & Crop) to support turfgrass experiments at Waterman Farm and Howlett Greenhouse in Columbus. The role involves fieldwork, applying treatments, and data collection, with some planting from seed and sod.

Background in outdoor work is helpful; training will be provided. Temporary position, 5-hour shift, first shift; background check required; drug screen or physical may be needed post-offer.

Qualifications

• Experience with outdoor fieldwork preferred but not required.
• Interest in turfgrass science and crop management.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in variable weather.

Responsabilités

• Mow and maintain turfgrass at field sites.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed.
• Collect and manage data from experiments.
