Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Student Assistant 2 to support Waterman Horticulture and ENR/FAES in planning, planting, maintenance and harvest operations. Work hours typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional alternate hours during harvest sessions.

Outdoors in all weather, tasks include weeding, mulching, and safe equipment operation. Student interns primarily work in the Hope Garden, assist with seasonal plantings, and support Waterman operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, planting, maintenance and harvest of research plots and Hope Garden at Waterman.
• Assist manager with tasks in Waterman and Hope Garden, including seasonal planting and harvest.
• Provide excellent customer service and coordinate activities for other student employees as needed.
