Job summary

Floridian National Golf Club is seeking a dedicated, on-site, full-time horticulture technician to support turf maintenance operations. You will assist in applying fertilizers and pesticides, calibrate equipment, and maintain accurate application records while contributing to course setup and seasonal tasks.

The role requires 2+ years golf course experience, familiarity with chemical applications, and a Florida Commercial Applicator License or the ability to obtain within 90 days.

Job Description

Working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent you will:

• Participate in fertilizer / pesticide applications and calibrate all application equipment regularly.
• Maintain records of fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as inventories of consumables.
• Assist in mowing, course set up, handwatering or any other duty requested of him/her based on the daily operational needs of the golf course.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. A 2 or 4-year Turf Management/Science Degree, Turf Management Certificate or other associate's degree preferred.

Work Experience

• 2+ years of on-the-job, golf course experience.
• Have a working understanding of chemical /fertilizer application and calibration.
