Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services in Livermore, California, is seeking a Landscape Pest Control Technician responsible for the prevention and treatment of pests and diseases on commercial landscapes, including fertilization and pest management using approved spray equipment.

The role requires at least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience, a state pesticide license, a valid driver license, and proficient English.

Qualifications

• Commercial pesticide operator experience (2+ years).
• Pesticide license issued by the state where employed.
• Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment
• Calculate product and carrier quantities
• Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment
• Safe handling and use of all chemicals
• Properly complete required paperwork
