Job summary

Boston Legacy FC is seeking a Coordinator, Sports Turf & Grounds to execute daily operational plans and maintain training fields in Brockton, MA. The role suits those who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and can deliver world-class playing surfaces under varying conditions.

You will collaborate with the Manager/Director, support events, and assist in winter operations, with opportunities to participate in matchday operations at White Stadium as available.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of high-level turfgrass experience.
• Skills in using Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining one natural professional pitch with SubAir hydronic undersoil heating, ¾ natural pitch with sand-based drainage, three artificial turf pitches, and an artificial bubble dome.
• Safety operates machinery and equipment including mowers, tractor, aerator, verticutter, sweeper, brush, blower, trimmer, and utility vehicles.
• Perform regular pitch maintenance including mowing, painting, aerating, fertilizing, topdressing, brushing, blowing, and divoting.
• Maintain landscape surrounding areas including mowing, trimming, weeding, and blowing.
• Support events hosted on outdoor artificial pitches and artificial pitch in the bubble dome through painting, grooming, cleaning, and equipment setup.
• Assist in winter operations, including snow removal across driveways, parking lots, and player entrances.
