Job summary

Boston Unity Soccer Club LLC is seeking a Manager, Sports Turf & Grounds to lead day-to-day maintenance of all training surfaces at the Brockton Performance Center, MA. The role partners with the Director of Grounds to deliver world-class surfaces for professional women's soccer.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of turfgrass experience, a turf science degree, and a MA Pesticide License within six months.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Science or related field.
• 3+ years of high-level turfgrass experience, preferably in sports turf.
• Experience with sand-based root zones and cool-season grasses.
• Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License within six months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain multiple pitches including natural and artificial surfaces.
• Perform turf care tasks: mowing, fertilization, aeration, seeding, line painting.
• Monitor turf health and address pest pressure, disease, and stress with proactive plans.
• Coordinate with coaching staff for pitch prep and irrigation management.
• Lead and develop full-time and part-time Grounds team members.
