Job summary

MetroGreenscape Landscaping is hiring a Spray Technician to join our turf management team. You will apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides on residential and commercial properties following label instructions and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina Commercial Pesticide Applicator License; license must be obtained within 12 months if not currently held.
• 1+ year of landscape or turf chemical applications experience.
• Strong knowledge of turf and ornamental pests, diseases, and treatments.
• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides per label instructions and safety guidelines.
• Inspect properties to diagnose turf and plant health issues (insects, weeds, diseases).
• Maintain accurate application records and logs.
• Calibrate and maintain spray equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate with clients and team about treatments and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Other tasks and projects as needed.
