Job summary

Metro Greenscape, Inc. is seeking an experienced Turf & Lawn Care Manager to lead our turf care program and ensure year-round lawn health for residential clients. The role includes planning, supervising two Spray Technicians, and diagnosing turf health issues.

You will develop seasonal programs, mentor staff, and maintain records. A NC Pesticide Applicator license and driving record are required. Benefits include health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of turf management or lawn care experience required.
• Understanding of turfgrass types, pest management, and soil science.
• Pesticide Applicator license for North Carolina is required.
• Supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement seasonal turf care programs, including fertilization, weed, insect, and disease control.
• Supervise and support two Spray Technicians in daily operations.
• Monitor turf health and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Train and mentor field employees on turf care techniques and best practices.
• Communicate directly with our clients regarding lawn health and service schedules.
• Maintain inventory of products and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Keep detailed application and treatment records.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and treatment innovations.
• Other tasks or projects as needed.
