Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to serve customers on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will perform full-service tax return preparation, give tax advice, and help clients navigate complex tax situations in person.

You’ll grow TurboTax’s client base in the local community, lead outreach, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to build lasting relationships. Strong communication and a client-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax Expert presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including simple to complex returns.
• Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, and optimize refunds.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sources, professional tools, and team expertise.
