Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring year-round TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, while building local client relationships and growing the TurboTax network in the community.

Role requires on-site presence, strong tax credentials, and the ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. A front-facing retail environment and uniform are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and serving as a public face of TurboTax in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.
• Lead and participate with the support of TurboTax in local marketing to make taxes accessible and approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s marketing tools, addressing inquiries and helping overcome tax-related challenges.
