Design Engineer – Turbomachinery Components

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer – Turbomachinery Components to lead the design, development, and optimization of critical rotating machinery. In this role, you will specialize in developing high-performance rotating and stationary components, ensuring they meet rigorous structural and fluid dynamic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop turbomachinery components such as compressors, fans, and pumps, including stators, rotors, shafts, housings, and end covers.
• Create 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, complex assemblies, and precise Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Support design reviews and systematically execute engineering change orders to optimize designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to collaborate effectively throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Deep understanding of turbomachinery principles, rotating equipment design, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong technical documentation skills for managing complex engineering assemblies and BOM structures.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
