Job summary

Atlas Machine and Supply, Inc. seeks a Turbomachinery Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair high-performance compressors across customer sites in the tri-state region.

You will perform inspections, alignments, and diagnostics, ensuring uptime and safety while expanding our service capabilities. The role requires 3+ years of experience with centrifugal or similar rotating equipment, reading schematics, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience servicing centrifugal air compressors or similar rotating equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and safety practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel across KY, OH, IN, and TN.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair turbomachinery at customer sites.
• Perform overhauls and alignments per OEM specs.
• Use vibration, temperature, pressure, and flow data for diagnostics.
• Read drawings and schematics; use precision measuring tools.
• Prepare service reports and track time/expenses.
• Communicate with customers and support teams; provide training when needed.
• Identify improvements and ensure safety compliance.
