Job summary

Ursa Major seeks a Turbomachinery Design Engineer II to advance turbopump design across engine platforms. You will own portions of turbopump components and contribute to engine testing and development in a fast-paced environment.

Required: a B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 3+ years in hardware-focused design, development, and testing, with CAD experience in NX or Creo. Colorado-based, full-time on-site role with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• 3+ years in design, development, and testing in hardware-focused orgs.
• Experience with CAD software (NX or Creo) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clean sheet design of turbopump subcomponents and assemblies.
• Incorporate design modifications to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Support turbomachinery-related root-cause analysis efforts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, analysis, and test teams to reduce variation.
