Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is seeking a Turbine Outage Program Manager in Soddy-Daisy, TN to lead long-term maintenance strategies and oversee outage execution. The role requires directing preparation, testing, and corrective actions to improve turbine performance and reliability during refueling outages.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in work management, knowledge of supply chain and procurement, and five years of nuclear plant support or three years in turbine/generator

Qualifications

• Bachelor in an engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading in preparation and execution phases of work management.
• Knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct preparation and implementation of long-term maintenance strategies.
• Oversee turbine maintenance activities during outages for reliability.
• Develop maintenance standards and procedures in line with codes and guidelines.
• Manage spare parts, contracts, and performance indicators for Turbine Services.
• Contribute to outage execution planning and coordination with teams.
• Lead special projects to address work scope and schedules for major maintenance.
• Represent turbine services in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
