Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority seeks a Director for Nuclear Asset Sustainability Projects to lead multi-disciplinary teams across NPG NASP. Responsible for program governance, budget, schedule, and contract oversight to sustain nuclear plant assets for long-term operation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, nuclear operations, engineering technology, math, physics, chemistry, or related science, or equivalent
• SRO License or Certification preferred; PMP Certification preferred
• Must obtain and maintain requirements for nuclear plant unescorted access
• Ability to participate in on-call rotational assignments (24/7)

Responsibilities

• Lead Establishes standards for portfolio management, planning, estimating, scheduling, forecasting, cost control, and change management for Nuclear projects.
• Manage engineering procurement and contractors to ensure schedule, budget, and technical compliance.
• Ensure all project labor contracts comply with TVA procedures and QA plans.
• Develop budgets for the Projects organization and operate within the approved budget.
• Coordinate with Nuclear Regulatory Commission and maintain safety culture across sites.
