Job summary

Baker Hughes is hiring a Field Specialist- Junior Mechanic Nova LT Turbines to join our Commercial & Sales-driven team in the United States. You will learn to install and maintain TPS rotating equipment at customer sites under supervision and collaborate with a mentor to develop core competencies in gas turbine field service.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or 1–2 years in the rotating equipment service sector, with strong reading of mechanical drawings and a practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or 1–2 years in rotating equipment service.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&ID, instrumentation, etc.
• Strong mechanical and control attitude.
• Excellent English fluency; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel worldwide 80% of the time.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA and eligible to work cross-border (Canada, Europe, Mexico).

Responsibilities

• Under supervision during on-the-job training, follow detailed instructions.
• Assist other crew members during installation and maintenance at customer sites.
• Learn and execute maintenance/installation of TPS rotating equipment; support other crew members.
• Interact with mentor or supervisor and other specialists.
• Perform responsibilities safely and per Baker Hughes processes and procedures.
• Contribute to other related duties as required.
