Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United States is hiring a Field Specialist – Junior Mechanic Nova LT Turbines. You will be trained on-site while assisting with installation and maintenance of TPS rotating equipment at customer sites.

Fluent English is required; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or 1–2 years in rotating equipment service is preferred. Willingness to travel up to 80% worldwide and legal work authorization in the USA are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent English fluency, both spoken and written.
• Ability to understand technical drawings (Mechanical drawings, P&ID, Instrumentation, etc.).
• Willingness and availability to travel worldwide up to 80% of the time (on and offshore).
• Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision during on-the-job training, follow detailed instructions.
• Learn and assist crew during Installation and/or Maintenance activities at Customer Sites.
• Learn to execute maintenance/installation of TPS rotating equipment and assist other crew members.
• Interact with mentor or supervisor and other specialists/supervisors in the group.
• Perform responsibilities safely and per Baker Hughes processes.
• Other related duties as required.
• Adhere to Baker Hughes HSE policies and legal/compliance requirements.
